My story : After coming to the bench I tried the next day.. I have pinged so many times to my bench Manager for the project.. In the first month I Requested lots of time to provide me a chance.. Then after I started learning new technology.. I contacted about 200+ people and Requested to provide me opportunities even I have cleared internal interviews. But they don't have a human heart in a month I Requested to my practise lead provide me with an opportunity they provided testing.. Even I am a developer I accept this also. I gave 4 interviews cleared 3 interviews but my practise lead decided First one the testing project . I got tagged , even I got mail and intro call done, even my mail id was created from the client side at the last moment they replaced me with their location girl in the last 3 days remaining.. I Requested hard to my bench Manager and practise lead not to replace me at the last moment but they don't have a human heart.. They said meri marzi.. Muje jisko rakhna hai rakhuga.. The reason they decided not to come to the office in August and oct. Month.. In last day I tried to contact HR and Requested to arrange the call but all were the same.

I was in the same position that you are in a few months back. I was always a very good student who got good grades , made it into a good college with good reputation.
At that time I didn't know the difference between a service based company and the product based company. So when Genpact came to my college I immediately cracked it and accepted the offer.
Fast forward 3 years - they didn't hire for a specific project . They hired me , put me on bench for over 1 and half years. And for the next 1 and half years , even though I was tagged to a project, they didn't give me work at all. I hardly worked for more than 3 weeks in my 3 year tenure.
After the project got over I was put on bench , and since I didn't get any new projects I was given the bench letter. I literally begged over 60 people on teams , AVPs ,VPs , senior managers. Literally no one helped. Applied to over 70+ jobs on internal job portal. Received 0 callbacks.
I lost hope and start applying outside. Upskilled myself. Initially when there was 3 months left I received no callbacks. When the last working date neared and I only had 1 month left , I got 17 callbacks for applying to over 1000+ companies.
Got rejected by 14 companies, have offers from 3. So I'm joining a new company with a good hike this Monday.
What I'm saying is , you may feel all hope is lost , but you never know , this can be a boon in disguise
Practise leads thought this is there iwn Company.. Necessary actions should be taken.. I hope I will get good Company now
