Plant lovers , Need help !
So I've recently bought few plants for my balcony. But I don't have any knowledge of gardening/plants. So need suggestions for free app which can help me identify and take care of my plants ! I've tried many apps but most of them are subscription based. Let me know if anyone uses any free app for the above !

I love PictureThis, but honestly, Instagram is such a goldmine for plant care! Just type your plant’s name in the search bar and you’ll find tons of posts from plant lovers sharing tips, care guides and even troubleshooting help (mostly in the comments/DM). Super handy and totally free! 🌿✨

Thank you. Will try PictureThis :)
Maybe I am missing something... But why app is needed for plants in balcony.. I just water mine regularly and they are perfect... 🤔

To keep them healthy. Watering alone is not enough. And I'm not really sure how frequently each plant require water

Just a random thought, will google lens work here ? If yes then you can identify it. By the way most of time you don’t need to know the plant type. Just water them appropriately depending on the moisture in the soil (if it’s already wet you don’t need to water em). May be you can watch a YouTube video by on plant care basics by Garden Up. She is good!

I doubt apps can help in this. I have 7 potted plants in my balcony, been taking care of these for 1+ yr, some died too, but I plant new when they die. Don’t know if apps can help in keeping them healthy and if they can tell me what to do and when to do.

I have bought a ph+light measuring device though.

Which plant do you have ? Mostly vermi compost helps in plant growth

Cape Jasmine. Lasted well for 1.5 yrs, and post that, started deteriorating. It has been in this state for almost 3-4 months now. Changed soil 2 times in last 6 months, added vermi compost and cowdung manure too. It used to be my strongest flower plant, had grown really big in one year, had 6-7 flowers at one point.

There are lot of youtube channel for plants you can check there. Plant more trees 🌴🌴🌴
