Persistent Systems forcing employees to resign
Standard stupid Indian HRs. Asking to share screen and resign. If you don't resign threatening to withhold the experience letter etc.

You all know it’s not “HR” who takes these decisions at any company. Lay the blame where is it deserved - the owners and founders and management and c-suite etc. it’s funny to even think any “HR” has this kind of power.

HRs are supposed to stop owners from doing what's wrong or let them do it themselves. Not just be a yes person. Sharing the screen and asking to resign opens up to you a lot of legal liabilities if you're recorded. It's good for such violators that India has no justice system otherwise half of them would have a legal case against them.

the purpose of HR is to protect the company not the employees

HRs are a punching bag for everyone.

Sad but true.
It’s easy to think a company can survive without HR but I differ in that opinion. Have burnt myself really bad going with this assumption and I could never think of doing what they do. One of the first teams or people I would hire is HR and then finance. Very very important roles for a company and just cannot imagine I can do what they do even for just about half a day.

Victim of this. I am asked to resign by sharing the screen and given me 5 days to submit laptop and leave the company. This is started for at least 30 to 40 employees per month from my branch. Now it has become per week. Because they don't have projects and lot of internal politics and fake experience, backdoor people.

You faced this at Persistent or Quantiphi?

Persistent.. They are doing parallel hiring and firing from few months.

HR is a dummy role, I haven’t seen them doing anything expect what the CXo tell them to do! It’s a spineless job.

Any evidence?

Next time please someone record this hr meeting and share the recording here.

When you are on bench, just ignore calls from the HRs. Works like a charm!

Guys try to file case against them to the labour court
