People are so impatient while driving?

I was on a cruise mode for the last 2 days on some NH. Observed that people are way so impatient, seemed like they forgot basic things like using blinkers, giving way for a better vehicle to overtake, wait for the other person’s reaction before overtaking etc. Good nnumber of people were just honking and trying to come forward irrespective of the situation out there, something which became normal in cities.

Better road discipline is needed in cities or on highways. Empathy is needed while driving; the road doesn’t belong to one person.

I might get some backlash; but this is more observed in vehicles coming from/going to the Kumbhmela; Don’t know if it due to the want to go home faster/Fatigue/Long distances to cover?
