Paypal SE -Android experience
Applied to Paypal through a linkedin job post around mid May. Got reached out by their HR late in May for an Online Assessment round on Hackerrank.
OA was of 1 hour and contained 8 MCQ on Android and 2 DSA easy level leetcode - 2 sum + max profit.
Cleared that and 2 WEEKS later got asked to interview for a subject in depth and DSA round.
This round contained general Android knowledge and in depth language awareness questions(Kotlin based). Around the end of the interview, the interviewer asked to open any preferrer IDE and share the screen and then to write a solution for eliminating a target value from Integer array(can contain duplicates too) without using extra space.
Cleared that and went on to the 3rd round three days later which was essentially a repeat of the previous round but more conversational. The time ran out before any DSA Question could be asked.
Three days later got asked to interview for the Hiring Manager round which got scheduled and then got cancelled a day before the interview was supposed to take place.
Tabse leke ye haal hai. HRs are ghosting and seem clueless themselves. Their workday portal also has removed the link for the role I was interviewing for.

UPDATE - Got reached out by PayPal again and was told the position I was being hired for had been put on hold indefinitely. There was another vacancy in a different team for which my candidature was moved ahead but another DSA round was needed before the HM round. In the DSA round Leetcode 278 was asked and I'm not sure if I'll be making it. 🙄
