GCP is pretty Rough, that's the worst team in Google with the highest attrition Rate, choose wisely.

Do some research for the Ads team, if you're gonna get milked either way, do it for more money.

Uber might be a good choice depending on your lifestyle choices(WLB over money), but similarly research on the team first.

Non big tech (Salesforce etc) - 10x YoE Big Tech (MAANG) - 12-15x Yoe

As long as you're levelled correctly.
Range is not for <2yoe, that can be anywhere.

I know it’s easy for me to say. Salary isn’t a metric for your opinion. And definitely doesn’t categorize you as a loser.

With Google, my domain shifts to internal tooling, hence the confusion.

Are you in FAANG currently, how do you keep yourself calm while going through such strenuous interview rounds, how long have you been practicing, do you have set of qs that you mainly focus on for hld and lld or you have gained that expertise to tackle any hld/lld question?

Have had past experience at MSFT. Not calm during interviews at all, every round starts with panic. Practicing for 4.5 months. Have job hunted 2 years back as well so patent questions such as blind 75, usual high frequency lists, grokking the system design, etc. HLD/LLD I revisit trade offs and components. The rest is just understanding based on work ex and past practice.

Seems like an L5 offer from Google. Maybe try matching with other teams in Google (so many roles open in Bangalore ) and try negotiating with HR if possible.
