NPS vs Mutual Fund

I invested in Mutual fund through SIP. Total profit was 6k after 1 year (Total invested amount around 60k) Today I saw monthly NPS statement of June 2024 month. This NPS contribution consist of company contribution and person contribution of ₹100 per month.

Total gain is 13399 for 60397 total contribution. I am surprised to see higher returns on my NPS than my Mutual fund investment.

Your mutual fund is not good. Change it. Just 10% in last year is bad returns. Couldn't beat even index

My NPS XIRR is 19%. I believe its much underrated considering the fact that you save upfront 30% tax on investments. I have been contributing since 2019 or so.
