IMO diversity hiring is the shittiest move of all time.

You should hire people based on capabilities not based on diversity. Businesses flourish based on outcomes not because some incompetent diverse work force.

Although I can see some places that might require very close offline collaborations within team members and hiring people from diverse backgrounds can lead to less racism and improve work place happiness But this should still not be the first criteria to hire.
