Not getting any calls for interview since months

Here’s what I’ve tried -:

  1. Tried to build a ATS friendly resume using prompts from ChatGPT
  2. Updated profiles on Linkedin, Naukri, InstaHyre, Indeed etc.
  3. Marked as open to work
  4. Applied on company sites without referral
  5. Applied on company sites with referral
  6. DMing HRs on linkedin
  7. Mailing HRs on their work mail

Still not a single call. It’s been months I’m trying. Please let me know if I’m missing something

You are not missing anything. Only problem these days is notice period. Every recruiter wants 2-3 weeks of notice period even though their org would have 3 months np.

Yeah true. I got an offer they want me to join in 1 month and their company np is 3 month. I tried negotiating the np but they are like it’s company policy

Few things from my observation

Your experience should be between 4 to 12 yrs You should apply through referrals
Update (do some changes) your profile everyday on the job sites. Keep changing the skills added in the job portals (like use alternate words)

For me last one year no calls and now i am on notice period and getting like 2-3 calls daily for last 2 weeks.
Try to have initial offer anyhow even with same pay and resign.. you will get tons of calls.

Recruitment is usually slow. Unless you are in a niche profile which everyone wants, which also means it may not be niche anymore, this is the story. Also years of experience also matters. The more you have, the harder it is.

One suggestion I can give is, instead of HRs go after consultants.

Do you have contacts of any such consultants?

how's it a niche if everyone wants it?

Hi let me share my experience
Since last 9 months I am searching for jobs , and have changed my resume to ats friendly. Given 3 4 companies getting calls but very less mainly rejected because of 90 days np. So since last 3 months in my Naukri my profile visits rise to 50%. Just do one thing change the notice period to immediate or 15 days. When HR calls tell them your notice period and also tell them you can negotiate. Finally I got my first offer this monday.

But when we say that I will try to negotiate they don't agree and ultimately don't go with the profile ahead

Change the Notice period to 30 days. Try to get into interviews. If they ask about the notice say them 30 and try to get the first offer. Then with that offer try to get other offers as well. Once the joining date nears ask them for a reschedule of joining, whoever accepts consider that.

what should you do if the cancel offer letter when you ask for reschedule? i was throught to try this
