Speed 400 now in with less cost ex-showroom of ₹2,17,000. It's the same KTM 390 engine with Telescopic forks and a smaller rear suspension.
Is it worth it?
I bought Honda CB350 RS 6 months back, enjoying it. The engine is 👑
RS is a very good bike. Zero vibration and clean gear shifts.
But it's not good outside the city. Majorly because of the high gear ratio I think.
Even though there is 5th gear it is jst for maintaining one speed. In mountain roads it gives quite a hassle with gear shifts. You feel the bike is not even moving at all.
But I like how much fun it is to drive in the city and short distance and amazing exhaust sounds.

I am a noob at bike but have some disposable $$ to put into a good bike. The current idea is to go for a decent bike which isn't too much over the top. The budget goes from 2lakh to 5 lakh. It isn't a rational buy but a emotional buy.

Use: Office commute in tier-2 city. Sometimes upto 200 kms in a day.
