Need Your Advice: Which Offer Would You Choose?

After facing over 15 rejections and spend 6 months in my job search, I finally received two job offers.

✅ Offer 1: A 30% hike from a company (MNC) in my current city, which allows me to stay close to my family. ✅ Offer 2: An 80% hike from a company (Startup) in Bangalore with a strict on-site work policy — no WFH.

For context, I’ve spent the last 4 years in my current company with a relatively low CTC. This second offer gives me a chance to align my salary with market standards.

However, I got married just 7 months ago, and my wife works in Noida — making relocation a tough decision.

I’m at a crossroads. One path offers financial growth, the other offers personal stability. Would love to hear your thoughts — what would you choose and why?

Please don’t only focus on emotions also consider salary and career growth.

I don’t want job stability for next 7 to 10 months, because of that I could have a justified package according to market, after that I will look for stability

Due to stability and comfort, currently I’m having 11 LPA with 6 years experience, if I go for thìs startup offer , I’ll reach 18 LPA in 6 years. After 6 to 8 months I’ll join some company in my current city with 20 to 22 LPA , that would be my peace of mind

Don't come to Bangalore. You will start questioning the purpose of your life if you do

Choose one if are you are in a situation! If your family can take care of themselves, you go and earn that big bucks!

I am stuck with my option one, because I am taking care of 76 year old mom. She loves to argue with me everyday 🤞

Hey man. First of all congratulations on marriage and job offer. I would suggest stick with offer 1. Stay in same city, stay with her, grow together. You have all the time. All the best and congrats again!

If you join banglore it will give u money right ? Its expensive already plus traffic plus chaos as ur wife works in noida ig she is already settled there .. and once u move to banglore u might not change for 1-2 year as u will expect to grow their and relocation is tough . Then u might plan for baby which make it more tough .. even if u have money expenses make it smiliar with 30 percent hike .. make a pros and cons list disucss with ur wife and family and decide

From comments I can understand it's a decision between 14 lpa and 18 lpa.

Rent and expenses of Bangalore, plus trips to your family itself will cost you more than 4 lacs in the year. So, from final savings perspective itself offer 1 is better

Bro. If the difference is anywhere between 20k - 30k. Pls stay in Noida. Life won't give you another chance as you imagine. 6-8 months seems short when you plan but trust me you don't know. Please stay with your family for now. Trust me you won't regret. Ultimately what if you get a better job in Noida after a year?

Only considering growth, move to Bangalore it will help. But check if the startup might close in few months

Considering other factors, you can consult with wife if she can move easily else chose offer 1

Bangalore startups are not something which is worth working by shifting and making your wife change her job and all that. Money will come and go, you will get similar opportunities in future to make money, just be prepared
