I'm planning to do my masters in Data Science? is it good to do masters in Data Science or General Computer Science since my work experience gets null if I do my masters in Data Science

Why null? And after learning data science for 2 yrs why can't you say that you worked 2 yrs on data science related stuff for 2 yrs?
