Need suggestions: Mba from Christ University with Finance

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

My brother recently completed his MBA in Finance and has received an offer for an Executive Trainee role in Sales. We’re trying to understand the scope of this role and what the future career path might look like.

Would it be better for him to pursue opportunities in finance-related roles, or is starting in sales a good option with strong long-term prospects?

If he continues in this role with HDFC, what kind of career growth and progression can he expect over time?
