Need little guidance on what to do with career
Hi Everyone, I'm an L2 non tech associate who is interested in SDE, Due to last 2 year market conditions and family needs I need to find a job for myself. I got myself a non-tech job at Amazon.
After joining the team of 14 members and I'm the 15 guy, I don't see my career growth anywhere near since I already consist of 7 people who are nearly one yr senior to me are racing for Promo, which is of non tech and Semi tech.
Skills I have :- Program language - java, python, javascript p Frame work - React, bootstrap/tailwind ( if considered) Version control- Git/Github
The billion dollar questions are :-
- is there any internal option to switch roles from non-tech(L2) to SDE(L4) or any Techie role ?
- should I try outside ?
- what to do for future job security ??
