Need Guidance for switching

I have working knowledge of Excel and basic skills in Power BI. When it comes to SQL, I have close to zero experience, but I’m eager to learn and improve.

Currently, I’m working as a consultant in the government and public sector with a CTC below 10 LPA. I’m looking to switch roles because I’m genuinely curious about data and want to build a career in this field.

I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions from professionals in the data space on how to make this transition effectively.
