I am going through a difficult situation right now. I worked for almost 3 years in TCS as Power BI dev, after which I joined another company, which I had to leave in 5 months as they didn't give me BI related work and now I have joined another company in which project I am landed in is in shambles( or expectations are extremely high from 3 yrs exp developers) as they are expecting everything to be completed in extremely short time; even BA, lead or managers are not objecting to client for this.
hence other BI devs along with me are not able to deliver. If company fires or asks me to resign in 3/5 months. My profile will be badly affected. Shall I look for options other than IT, as now I'm feeling like IT is not suitable for me. Will my career in IT will be difficult as other companies won't shortlist me as I switched 2 companies within 5-6 months span.
I'm in reputed analytics company but they tend to fire employees who can't match expectations.

Stay in your current role while enhancing your Power BI skills to meet expectations. Communicate challenges constructively with your manager. Switching industries might not solve the issue, but focusing on continuous learning, certifications, and networking can help secure better opportunities and rebuild confidence in IT.
Bro, IT is a rollercoaster 🎢, but don't jump ship yet. Stick with it, gain more exp, and show your skills. Switching fields might not solve the problem. Focus on improving and finding a better fit within IT. You got this!
