My Experience as a Graphic Designer in a Fast-Paced Workplace

I worked as an Executive Graphic Designer for over a year in a company where I handled multiple responsibilities, including graphic design, video editing, and content creation. While I gained valuable experience, the overall work environment was challenging and demotivating.

Some key issues I faced:

Lack of Employee Value – Hard work often went unrecognized, and salary increments were minimal.

Toxic Micromanagement – The management constantly undermined employees’ efforts instead of fostering growth.

Unreasonable Workload – Despite handling tasks beyond my role, there were no additional benefits or appreciation.

Poor Work-Life Balance – A 6-day workweek, long hours, and only 10 leaves a year made it difficult to maintain a balance.

While this company may be a learning ground for beginners, those looking for respect, career growth, and fair pay should consider other options.

Exactly! On top of that, we didn’t even have access to Google at work, and they have just unlocked Freepik and a few competitor websites. The micromanagement is insane, and there are no real benefits. Just a 6-day grind with barely any leaves. It’s like they expect us to function as robots, not creatives. Definitely looking for a place that values skills and respects employees.
