  1. Bao Bangalore for bhutanese, tibetan food - it’s a tiny place run by an ex masterchef contestant, and the curry flavours are something i haven’t able to find elsewhere in bangalore. Everything is a hit, they just do not miss, and the consistency is top notch. Is also cheap, and the best bang for the buck out of anything on this list.
  2. Foo - poshly presented asian food, great mushroom dishes, incredible cocktails - just all very fancy, polished, instagrammable, and delicious at the same time. If you’re in a group of 4+ try the tokyo dessert tower thingy, it tastes decent but comes with a flair.
  3. Ulo x Subko icecream sandwich in the bombay shirt company store on 12th main. Best. Try both flavours. Try Milano for flavourful icecream - do not fall for the Corner House trap.
  4. Spettacolore - if you’re a cheese lover and want to try authentic vegetarian naples and rome pizzas. They give cheese unlike anyone else. It’s an all veg place. Try Brik Oven if you want meat pizzas.
  5. Daily Sushi, Lucky Chan, Fatty Bao - very good and reliable asian food. Daily Sushi isn’t as consistent as the other two but is great on its good days. Try the lemon tart, and the lettuce paneer wrap thing at Fatty Bao.
  6. Karavalli - sea food. And more sea food. Incredibly tasty, is expensive but so worth it. Would recommend the outdoor seating so avoid going on a hot day for lunch.
  7. Kaze - for one of the best rooftop views of CBD. Good food, great drinks, even better ambiance. Very posh, and try to book in advance for outside seating - great spot to celebrate special occasions.
  8. Bhartiya Jalpan - for having chaat in a sit down establishment instead of roadside. AVOID anand sweets, it’s bland.
  9. This is not an recommendation but a hard AVOID - olive beach. The less i say the better. Manu Chandra has left the brand and this place is now not a reflection of its reviews on google. Hard swerve.
  10. Good, clean, Swiggy options - Paris Panini, Nosh House, Candaces sandwiches.
