I was working in a marketing role and quit my job in April. Since the last few months I have been learning Java and spring boot. Till now I have attended 4 interviews but couldn't crack them. I'm starting to feel mentally exhausted and sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice.
For the people who transitioned from non tech role to tech role, do you have any advice?
Patience is the key. Don’t expect overnight results. 4 interviews is nothing. You need to learn much more than just Java and Spring boot. Without problem solving skills, you won’t be able to clear most of the interviews. Give yourself few more months rather than doubting yourself.
Learn to enjoy the process rather than outcome. Half of the problems will be sorted automatically. :)
