Moving from a large company to a seed startup

I am thinking of switching from a decent sized company which is profitable to a seed startup. What all things should I evaluate while making the decision?

  1. How much help (designers, analytics, program manager) would you have? Mid to large companies have these people supporting PM but in seed level firm, you might have to do all
  2. How much visibility would founders be able to give you on strategic projects? Expectation is that you will know all strategies, investor discussions, etc but depends on the founder. You might end up just executing work
  3. What is the founder vision to grow the team?
  4. How much of your time would go in firefighting (proxy is the stability of current systems)? You might not want to join a company where every day is an operational nightmare and you are working round the clock, not doing core product work
  5. What is the founder vision? Are you aligned or motivated on the same?
  6. Monetary prospects? Possible growth? Salary hikes/promotions? Stability from layoffs
