Medi assist team rejected my medical claim

Folks Recently my mother was admitted to the hospital due to illness and unfortunately they don’t support cashless but they confirmed bills will be provided. Considering it and criticality of my mother situation i did not go to other hospital. However they have given handwritten due to being maintaining the computerised bills.

So I have submitted my reimbursement and they are simply rejecting for not providing the printed bills. Whereas I have submitted all hand written evils with stamp and signature of doctor. But still they are rejecting it. I kindly request your support how to proceed.

No solution. Hand written bills will never be accepted. Next time, check with tpa or broker, even before going for surgery, so that you take treatments at such places which give acceptable documents. I recently had 3 such post-surgery reimbursement approvals done flawlessly.

If the hand-written bills have GSTN mentioned in printed format, then it may work, but otherwise no hope.

But there are small hospitals where they don’t have printed bills. Though it is genuine not sure why being rejected. Is there any such rule anything come from government if so I will leave it here , if government doesn’t say about it I will drag it to next level
