Manager claims to not doing Micro Management

We have a tracker in Deloitte where we are told that every hours task should be maintained in this . Basically micro management But when we had a on shore off shore collective calls from all locations. Manager say that this is not micromanagement this is just to be productive and understand effective work environment 🙂‍↕️
