Low Base but high in esops/rsu: investment suggestions?
I am married 27 years old and I receive 1.35k post tax, insurance and pf monthly. I spend almost 53k on expenses (rent+ groceries + wifi+ dining out) then 11k my monthly expenses then I invest as follows:
- Ppf - 5k
- Equity + debt based hybrid policy of TATa AIA: 7k
- Mutual fund: 30k
I gave 10k to my mother for her MF. Then rest money I keep for miscellaneous. My wife is also working but she has just started working from 1.5 year in IT so not earning enough. So, she will start contributing once she starts earning a bit more.
At the end of the month its only 42k I am investing and I feel its not enough. Though I receive a generous amount of RSU every year. What to do ? Is this monthly savings enough?

Are you not selling the RSUs you receive? Are you really that bullish on Oracle? If not sell the RSU and invest as you would normally.

I want to sell stocks but it will invite short term gain plus oracle stocks went from 340 to 160 so there is no point in selling right now.

Tata policy band karo. See investing channel.
PPF band karo. Literally useless. NPS me daal hi to rahe ho. Nahi daal rahe to daal do, tax bachega.
53k is overspending for what you wrote when you couple that with 11k extra. Wifi should be 0 in fact if you WFH. Stop dining out regularly and go to VFM places.
Hope you have 6-12m emergency fund.
Ye sala Oracle bahut RSU de deta bhai par base kam rakhta 🥀

I could opt for NPS but PPf also provides tax free on redemption. 53k is the basic, 35k on rent , 10 k on groceries I only dine out twice a month, 2-3 times on zomato in month. I could save some from TATA policy thanks for that. POF vs NPS? Can you explain. I know few details but still can you tell more

Unrelated to your post. But how are the hikes in Oracle? I've heard mixed reviews on that

Pathetic
