Looking for constructive feedback

Folks, looking for some constructive feedback on my resume. Please look from the angle of technologies I've worked on, their depth and the impact highlighted from the resume. What should I focus on more? Thanks for having a look.

Why would you hide your name ๐Ÿ˜‰

Being anonymous ๐Ÿ˜Œ

It takes 1 min using 4 keywords to find someone/something on the net.
Your resume contains at least 50 keywords, in a specific pattern, 10 seconds is enough ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyways. Enough scaring ๐Ÿ˜

  1. Your resume depends on what role you seek. I used to have 3 different resumes, all my work differently highlighted for different roles. I was out of a job, and needed something desperately.

  2. Once you figure out what role you seek, identify what skills are needed and what you got. Marry them.

  3. Start with what are the top 3, achievements you want to highlight.
Highlight them using relevant keywords, at the top of your resume (after your name email). The best way to highlight top3 is through space management.

  4. Rest of resume can follow. Someone commented impact-in what area-using what skills. Follow that as much.

  5. Donโ€™t let your cv become a copy of jd.

  6. Give attention to content, then to formatting.

  7. For a data scientist, your resume has very few numbers.

  8. Use impactful headings. Cargo eta prediction can be
โ€˜Accurately predicting cargo trajectory and eta for (impact/gains/savings whatever)โ€™ Gives a sense of what the project is, how it impacts and also tells you work for business goals.

  9. Confidence levels, accuracy of models should be added. Neural networks can be highlighted.

It would be a bit better if you mention tech used for each of these or as a whole for IBM only, those keywords actually help recruiters find good cv and candidates. Nonetheless very good CV ๐Ÿ‘

You meant to add tech used for each project/IBM as whole, right? Wasn't clear from the first line.

Yes correct.

I have just started learning ML. When you mention PCA, lstm, have you studied maths n stats behind it? Just asking, nothing personal. I am getting lost in the algebraic calculations and just wondering how much emphasis to give on the stats?

Yes, I have a good understanding of all the techniques and tools mentioned in my resume. I understand your concern, it took me reading the topics multiple times and every time there would be some small detail that would just click. Don't worry and keep reading, try different sources/authors and it will be all fine. It's important to understand the working of the algo, helps you make better decisions about the algo to choose and also helps you understand why something works/not works. Going forward you just know where something might work/not work.

For the projects, better create some UI, host it on free platforms and share links. Will help you stand out in the crowd.

Hey this is a great cv, however the impact imo can be communicated in a better way. I think you will get some more tips here

Hey @Testn00b thanks for the resource, after reading it I understand what you meant around the impact. Very helpful.

Looks boring af. I would recommend using some tool to format it better, maybe add your picture somewhere. Helps to put a face to the name.

Content is a little too much/detailed for resume imo. Seems more appropriate for a CV.

This is bad advice

Adding my picture doesn't seem like a lot of sense to me.
Can you give an example for the content being too detailed and how you feel it should look like?
