Looking for career guidance - 2 YOE, IoT startup

Hi. I wanted to share my journey and get some advice on how to move forward in my career. After college, I worked as a customer service associate in a BPO for 2.5 years at a CTC of ₹ 1.8 LPA. Left the job and I upskilled by learning Java full stack development and eventually landed a role at a Fortune 500 company as a Cloud Engineer with a ₹6 LPA package. Most of my work was focused on .NET and Azure but unfortunately I was laid off after a year. Post layoff I wasn't able to get job for many months and eventually joined a small IoT startup as a backend engineer. The pay here is just ₹3 LPA but anyway I joined since I don't want the gap to increase further and I’ve been working here for about seven months now.

The challenge I’m facing is that I haven’t been able to go deep into any specific stack. I’ve worked on integration modules using C++ and Python for a couple of months, developed backend services in Node.js, and also built a couple of websites using Next.js for the startup I am working now.

I am planning to switch soon but I’m unsure about what stack to focus on for interviews. Should I position myself as a Node.js backend developer or lean into Python, C++ or .NET/Azure based on my past experience? I have few cloud certifications and good understanding of IoT protocols.

Also, should I target IoT based companies or service based companies? Given my background and around 2 years of actual software development experience what kind of salary range should I realistically expect ?

Any guidance would be really appreciated since I am very much confused. Thanks in advance!!!
