Hi Community, I am in the process of getting an offer from LinkedIn for SDE role. I have 4 YOE. Please help me with below queries.

  1. How much should I expect as a base salary?
  2. How much RSUs should I negotiate for?
  3. Also, can I expect Senior software engineer role for this YOE?

Software engineer Base - 32 Bonus - 3.5 Stock per year - 16 TC - ~52

Senior Software Engineer Base - 40 Stock - 30 Bonus - 4 TC - ~75

You should definitely target Senior SWE role, I just met a new hire Senior SWE with 3 YOE.

Base: ₹25-35 LPA, can flex based on your current comp + interview performance RSUs: ₹30-50 LPA total grant Senior SDE Position: At 4 YOE you're right at the cusp! The jump from SDE2 → Senior typically happens 4-6 YOE. Getting Senior band will depend on:
