Nowhere does OP mention to stop doing your work. Put in the work but leave the outcome to god. Karm won’t guarantee your reward but getting the reward is anyways not your job, but doing the karm is definitely your job

Something which is not in our hand is to be done by itself..that is considered as the God.....God is the word beyond our imagination...and it's up to you whether you believe in God or not..I don't say anything about any physical or virtual God... it's just a belief.

Difficult to put one's faith in God when you are putting ur sincere efforts and hardwork but still getting nothing in return.Staying away from vices and being kind to others but all you get is nothing at all.I don't deny existence of God and laws of Karma but can't put my faith in God.

Take actions as many as you want but still if you are helpless then leave it on God( let it be by itself)
You need to remember there needs to be an action for a reaction. You just cant get everything if you don’t even work for it.
