So zopper is a Noida based startup, which recently laid off 25 people around 2 weeks ago, and now has asked another 55 people from tech to leave.

This is almost 60 percent of the workforce, which includes tech and product both.

What was the reason of layoff? Didn't they raise funds? Are they out of cash already?

I never ran an tech company. But be it a trading or manufacturing company we never overestimated like this.
Something is seriously wrong here. Am starting to feel companies that raise funds, hire people just to pocket the money raised. The people are just a pawn.
