I personally know 3 but more than 20+ left from a team because of layoffs and toxic work culture
I believe company has done it silently, no news about it yet
I got to know from an ex boss who now works in MPL in a senior position. They shut down one of the high quality major game (AAA rated)they were working on and moved to the other AAA game, which is also moving pretty slowly. They were supposed to launch in first half of 2022.
Many got laid off from the first team.
Work culture was amazing between 2020-21. Got toxic last year after 2 rounds of layoff
💯 work place was amazing between 20-22 but now it is worst 😒
And then they laid off a bunch of folks from the project again in nov
No one is aware of this within MPL. This is really sad.
