
Kyndryl Background Verification (BGV) Query
Hi folks,
I've received an offer from Kyndryl and I'm a bit anxious about the BGV process.
I had a complicated exit with a previous employer about 7 years ago, which could potentially show up as a "red flag" (ineligible for rehire). My more recent employment history is clean. I have worked for a Big 4 more than 5 years and let this year.
My main question is: How many years of employment history does Kyndryl's BGV typically verify in India?
Looking for insights from current Kyndryl employees or anyone who has recently gone through their onboarding process. Does their third-party vendor check the last 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, or all employment listed?
Any genuine information would be a huge help. TIA!

I can share what I know.
"Ineligible for hire" - Most of the companies don't share this information even if it's asked by BGV team.
My wife was in BGV department so I know that the max information she used to receive was - Designation, Start and End Date.
Remaining all the fields like - Rehire Eligibility, Feedback/Comments etc used to be blank in the email response she used to receive.
So most probably, if you are lucky that your old organisation also follows the same policy like hundreds of other MNC'S like just sharing most important details in BGV verification mail like Start-End date and designation - you would be fine.
