Kpmg salary discussion

Hi everyone, what was the salary range for the pyspark data engineer consultant for 3.5 years experience at KPMG.

I cracked kpmg they scheduled an interview after agreeing with 12lpa now they are negotiating to reduce the package based on my current package (3.8LPA).

Any tips or suggestions to negotiate.

Initially I started discussing base salary expecting with 12LPA they are trying to reduce it to somewhere around 8L to 9L (inclusive of 12% of base salary as variable pay) based on my current package
