Just switched to devops

I have recently made a department shift to DevOps, I am thinking of working in my current firm for a while and then make a good jump. (Good as in more than double). I was previously a UI developer and underpaid. With the next switch i am thinking of getting back to parity or even slightly nudge ahead (if possible).

Any ideas on how to do that would be appreciated.

Thanks

Switch from DevOps to Dev

I have about 3 years of experience in DevOps. I want to know how easy it is to switch to a dev role? My main concern being the culture of devops work and the pay gap. Devops roles don't pay as much. Any advices? TIA
