Its Urgent :- What amount should i ask to HR during compensation discussion ?

My current CTC is 12,10,000/- with 1 year 10 months experience.

My fixed component is 10,00,000/- and 2,10,000 is variable.

How much fixed amount should I tell if they ask me about my expectation?

Best way is to ask HR directly on their max budget , 16 lpa is sweet spot....but hey that shouldnt be limit...if you think interview went well and you did good add 1 lpa upon that and say you are open to negotiations....but again understand what is their budget based on that you can take the call...hope this helps....wish you all the best

Search for Analyst at JPMC. And ask for 30% more than that. 🙂

Don’t ask for a number.
Say you’re expecting for a good hike. And you will be happy if they give a good number.
Do your best to not give a number.
Let them give an offer. Ask 10% more than that.

Always double your existing salary. The HR will mock you, don't get offended, instead tell them how your profile directly contributes to the bottom line. Or how your performance can be measured in dollars. Give out a few technical words and pull some BS.

They will not agree to it ut very rarely they will cancel the offer. The most likely event would be they would offer a very low ball just cut you down to size. You can safely assume that twice of that amount is their budget.

Now you have a baseline for negotiation.
