Is water crisis is real?

I see lots of posts about water crisis in Bangalore like people going mall to 💩. Office saying employees to work from home. So many things I am hearing. But I never felt that water shortage. Just wanted to know how real is this ?

I recently heard from a neighbour that most of the crisis is faced by folks in Whitefield and Sarjapur Road stretch. As these areas have immature water infra.
