Is there anyone else like me, not knowing how to ride a bike?

Hi, I am 22 M, from a tier 2 city, Graduated recently and looking for opportunities. This is not a post bout that.

Thing is, I never learnt to ride a bike since I don't have one in my household. When I stepped into college, I joined a driving class but, long story short, got scammed. Then joined another one again, learnt to ride scooty and gear bike a little, but again lost touch. Then I tried to learn by various sources for the past 2 years, but I wasn't able to ride a bike consistently. No friends who trust me enough to give theirs, and I have contacted a few rapido bhaiyas to teach me bike lessons and got few actual leads, but again, they didn't come consistently.

Right now I can ride a scooty but not in traffic, and bike, I can only ride in empty roads. This one thing keeps me bugging a lot, as I may get a job soon and need to go to a new city, I want to get enough practice before moving out.

I mainly just wanna know if I am alone on this situation or not. Is anyone out there who was/is in my situation, A guy who learnt to ride a bike quite late? How did it went, what was your hack? Should I just buy a second hand bike then practice on it? Will it get better eventually or Will it be tough to learn hereafter?

Thanks.

Learn to ride a bicycle first. If you're good at it, shifting to moped / scooty is very easy.

Once you're good at moped / scooty, you can shift to a bike.

Directly riding a bike can be dangerous, if you're not good with balance on two tires, as bike has more power and you can get into bigger accidents.

So learn and become comfortable on low-power two-wheelers first, before graduating to a bike.

Chill it's never too late to learn. 27M learnt scooty and car recently. To have confidence to drive on roads just ride for 20 km at a go in traffic. You will feel overwhelmed at times but finally after all this you will have confidence to drive any vehicle you want to drive on the road.
