Is the value of grapes same as cred coins ?

Cred had introduced Cred Mint few months back, & there's a membership to it. Hence, this facility expired for me few days back. In order to start the membership, we can use cred coins.

Pointless

Just got 1k grapes, but what about them ? Am I competing against someone (while everyone is anonymous here) or am I collecting them to use as some currency ? Or Its just like Cred coins 😀
