Is Pixis.ai worth joining?

Recruiter reached out, offering 50-75% hike on current CTC But it's a startup and considering the layoff situations just worried. My current company has good WLB and no office drama. This would be my first switch if I do so.

They said they're planning to do a Series C round but don't offer RSU/ESOPs during hiring but rather on performance.

Current exp: 2.5 years Any guidance appreciated, TIA

Imo should stay away from any company that needs cash injection for survival , especially that may need in next 12-15 months, since that would be dryest liquidity time of decade.

You can ask questions around burn and runway, do proper due diligence then take a call. Would require some pestering. Else if you feel the role is too good to pass with responsibilities won't find anywhere else, then take it

I always do some research using Crunchbase and company info since we already have cognitive bias towards the company that will hire us, so I can at least make an educated guess. I think you should also talk to the current employees working there using LinkedIn to get more information before you come to a conclusion.
