Is Mesa School of Business worth the investment (time, money, etc)
Context: I do have an offer - to join the second cohort. I have 1.5 years of work ex at micro impact fund. Currently I’m working with a great early stage fund as an intern in the investment team. I have been having seconds thoughts about joining the program since few days.
Eventually goal is to break into VC post the program. Would love to get candid thoughts and feedback?
Thanks a lot!

Hey, you are in VC space. I understand you would be smart. Why not have candid talk with Varun. He would've been the one to let you know you got selected, right? So, Just talk, he would've given you his whatsapp. Tell him your concerns, and he should provide you with some clarity.
Just my 2 cents - you wanna learn the things in the curriculum, go for it.
If you think this is replacement to MBA, it won't be. Nothing can replace in person MBA from top B schools as it's not the teaching, but the crowd that comes there

Hey I am in the same boat. I have my final interview pending with Mesa. I also want to break into VC post my MBA. Do tell what you have decided, once you decide. How is the personal interview round?

Sure will let you know. As for the process it’s not very difficult to crack.

Hey did you join the program or not?

I am part of the Mesa Founding Cohort and had an incredible experience here. Having been an entrepreneur and then working full-time post my startup stint (with a total of about four years of experience), I realized there was still much to learn. Unlike conventional MBAs, Mesa’s program is uniquely structured around "learning by doing." From case studies to literally launching your own business, the hands-on approach is truly transformative. Academically, Mesa brings in the best professors from esteemed institutions like Kellogg.
For those interested in venture capital or seeking opportunities in that space, networking is a crucial aspect of the role. Mesa provides an excellent platform to build such a network. If you're ready to put in the hard work, the founders themselves who come from prestigious backgrounds like Harvard and Kellogg will leverage their networks to support you.
I currently work full-time for one of the top VC firms. When I joined Mesa, I aspired to work in venture capital, and from day one, I received support tailored to that career pathway. Today, my network is filled with professionals from this ecosystem.
Beyond the professional growth, the relationships you build and the time you spend with your peers here are invaluable.

congratulations sounds great! did you end up joining the investment team or the portfolio/scouting team?
