Is mba worth it ?
For all techies who have been in industry for more than 4 years, is it worth to do mba from iims if you want to venture out of software and get into business. 24 M, TC 45
Few cons which i can think of are
- you lose out on the salary of the two years
- end up with a debt
- you get the job which is gonna pay at par or below the the current salary
pros can be
- you grow quicker once you are in the industry
- you get exposed to much bigger network of professionals and senior execs of multiple firms
- 5 year down the line, you salary can get much better when comparing with tech job
