IS Kolkata a good place to Work (IT & Corporate) and Retire ? IF not then which city and why ?

Hello GV folks , I am a 36 Y, M, Software Test Engineer (Automation) with 7+ years experience. Present Location : Bangalore Permanent & Family Location : Kolkata

I am thinking of shifting permanently to Kolkata and live with my family NEED some solid advice . After discussions with limited people and my analysis I am getting a big NO because of political reasons eg.

1. No investment by corporate
2. Muslim appeasement
3. Bengal is on the way of Kerala and Kashmir, demography change due to illegal Bangladeshi.

I think the last few months have put Bengal into bad limelight

1. Sandeshkhali Incident with TMC Sheikh Shahjahan
2. RG kar Gang rape case
3. Sharia Court by TMC Hamidul Rehman And the list goes on.

Am getting paranoid and worried for the safety of my parents and family. Am I getting worried without any reason ?

Does switching to Kolkata be the correct decision ? If not then which city will be a better option ?

Request 🙏 everyone to help me with serious suggestions. If you have anyone working in IT in Kolkata please share this post .
