Is it worth taking the risk?

Heya Grapeviners,

Need some advice and opinion, if it's worth doing this binary gamble, either a new job or loss the stakeholder confidence on the current job!

So, Here's some context I'm associated with a firm, with whom my contract is about to expire, with an almost sure shot possibility to extend, but yet to decide/coinfrim salary, and by what I have heard it's going to be around 8-10, which is pretty decent for a non IIT fresher in product management.

The work life balance is good, team is superb, work ahh bit repetitive but a growing trajectory, so all in all good experience.

But here's a twist, I'm bit delusional and expect a higher salary and a company tag on resume, and for some reason BLR, all this because I accidentally did an internship last year with a giant, and have a decent work experience.

Enough with context, here's the gamble I'm talking about

I made a deck on product & gtm startegy, for a famous company but haven't heard back from them on mail.

Am planning to post that deck on linkedin, tag the concerned people and other industry folks, as a portfolio project for some visibility and maybe a possibility of landing a job with them.

Why I want to do this? The accidental internship I mentioned earlier, that's how i landed that intern when the CEO, whom i tagged liked the deck and was hired on the go.

Ps: don't ask, why didn't I get a PPO, I was a collateral damage of a merger.

So should I post the deck?

There are chances of visibility but a Surety of loosing stakeholder confidence within the current company.

I want to stay with the current company but also explore options, and being a non IIT fresher in product management already makes it hard to find 6lpa+ job. So I respect the opportunity but explore as well.

The deck is universal for product launch framework, but obviously fine tuned to the preference of the company for whom I made the deck.

Contains: user persona, user cohorting, cohort transitions, analytics dashboard.
