My new role is completely remote. And I used to have FOMO for not living in a metro and getting along with people. Posts like these remind me how sad my life was when I was actually going to office everyday.

I got depressed from staying alone and decided to do wfh by telling it to my manager

What did the manager say

Maybe you could try something which gives you inner satisfaction, like, teaching underprivileged kids by joining an NGO during weekends. In your leisure you can try engrossing yourself to know about something which you've always wanted to. Like I am really curious about world war 2 and I use my free time to read books and watch documentaries on it. Also, if you love football, then every weekend, your favourite team must be playing some match, which you can watch!
I know from personal experience that loneliness is too hard to deal with, but we must come up with some cope up mechanism unless there's a clear picture what you wanna do after you quit! Cheers man!

I joined an organization , where they are literally asking 5 days a week and I also did wfh before this ,I am feeling same in just 1 week so I am getting a bigger flat and requesting everyone to move in with me, my family is my lifeline
In the Era of divorce and alimony and court case fights , few family members are what keeps me going 🥰

So bringing your whole family here?

It’s completely normal to feel lonely at first. I Left my hometown and moved to Gurgaon 4 years ago and struggled for the first couple of months without old friends.
Over time, I bonded really well with my colleagues, and also took solo trips, where I met a lot of amazing people (and trust me I’m not very extroverted!).
Focus on staying busy with hobbies, join some sports club (may be a Fitso membership?). Blr also hosts a lot of events and meet ups on a regular basis. Lastly try reconnecting with old friends and family over calls. That eases the feeling of loneliness a bit.
You'll adjust and find your group eventually. Don’t worry. :)

Thanks for the motivation

I was in the same boat a few years back. I tried to focus on myself, running, playing sports, reading novels, playing games, cooking for myself etc.
It gets easier, but you got to do it everyday.

😔😔😔I think I am a people person from childhood I enjoy company of people my leisure time is mostly gone in chatting and talking to people that’s why I think I am feeling like this

I have people in my family who wants to stay in Bangalore and work just to make enormous money. Unfortunately they don't understand the real essence of life. Me on the other hand is someone just like You

but money also matters some times and also family matters don’t understand what is more important getting difficult

If wfo is not compulsory, then pack your bags, venture back home sweet home, rakha kya hai Bangaluru mein?
