Is it okay let 10 lacs lie in bank account ?

People advice you should not keep too much money in your bank account, bank account interests does not beat inflation, so invest all money in some safe space that gives at least 8 percent interest rate on your money.

On the other hand I feel liquidity gives you a state of luxury and satisfaction that you have this much money at disposal right way, which also leads to unnecessary expenses..

What’s your take on this ?

Have you seen the recent news saying someone lost several lakhs of rupees due to a otp scam/upi scam ? If you ever fall for such scam, you will loose a lot of money

Will check about debt funds, mutual funds I am already putting in, don’t want to bet that heavy on MFs to put everything in, P2P lending is not my game, risky stuff !

Liquidity is like aloo in biryani, necessary but not too much. Invest wisely, let your money work harder than you. Jaisa desh, waisa bhesh.
