Is going for a YC startup a good decision?

Hey guys, I needed some serious advice, I am a SDE with 2 years of experience, I recently switched to a new mid sized company in Bangalore and the work culture is very good there are also good benefits, but there's nothing much in the learning perspective, I'm getting an offer from a YC startup for a founding team and it's in Delhi closer to my home but I'll also get a raise from my current and a hell lot of learning but I'm worried if it would be worth it? Leaving a stable company and going for YC?

It sounds like great money at first, then you actually realise how different it is. Founding Team is really tough, takes alot of your time and you’ll have no benefits or certainty.

I’d say only join if you believe in the company and are getting equity/esops, if the idea keeps you excited, you’d do well

They're offering equity and some esops, and the founder is young approximately my age, I know him though my friend. It'll be like some young grads going out to make something.

Working at a Pre-Seed or Seed stage startup?

The title speaks for itself.

As a fresher, should I focus only on developing my experience or should I care about funding, number of employees and all that stuff?

By the way this startup is a part of YC.

Working at startups is terrible

I recently worked at a startup and it was terrible.

To be honest, I still worked at one of the better ones but it just sucked.
