Is Esop mentioned on Offer Letter?
In my offer letter Esop is not mentioned of worth 20 lacs. Should I ask to revise offer letter ?. How common in Startups it is , have you encountered this situation?. Please suggest.

Yes get the offer revised. Get the vesting period all other details on paper
Thanks @BiryaniEnthu for response. They are saying on first day of office, they will do all the formalities regarding Esops and saying dont need to worry on it and offer letter dont have esops written in it.What do you think on it ?
It is somewhat common that startups don’t mention the esops on offer letter. And might generate a esops only letter after a month or two of your joining

It can be common. Especially if it’s an early startup. Did they mention about it in any mail ?
My mantra is simple in the corporate world.. Get everything in writing.
Just check once with the recruiter or an existing employee
ESOPs aren’t mentioned on offer letter. Take a post-dated grant letter.
