Is 1 year MBA worth it?

I am currently working with Wipro, CCTC 22 LPA, 8 yoe. I am contemplating whether to apply for 1 year MBA in IIMs, specifically Ahmedabad/Bangalore/Calcutta.

There is opportunity cost and I will have to take a loan of 35 Lakhs. I am concerned about the Return of Investment.

I am considering MBA as a value addition and looking for long term. Would it really help me accelerate in career and give a shot in the arm long term? Will I be getting better salary in placements?

I can switch and get over 30+ salary now, and it’s adding me to ‘To Do or Not to Do’ thought process.

Also I do have thoughts like whether I will regret this if I do not do now, I am currently 31 years old.
