Investment post : need expert advice on review my portfolio
Hello guys,
Need you kind advice on my portfolio, please review this and provide me the best possible suggestion to improve.
I'm 22 years, i have been started investing in MF 9 months from now, initially i have invested 2k in PPFC and 1k in small cap and 1k in midcap and 1k in nifty 50 index. But after reviewing and suggestion from one of my office colleague, i made my mind to change to the above funds.
First sorry to bring this here :
My goal is to invest till 35 to 40 years and do SWP from that, right now I can invest 5k in SIP but I will increase the amount once I get better salary.
Now : 5k monthly :
NIMAAF = 25% ICICI = 30% PPFC = 30% Small cap =15%
Along with this i have put 1.5 lakh on FD and 50k on Silver and Gold EFT, and EPF as well. And occasionally i will invest some money in this as well.
Please suggest and advice me, if I need to make any changes in my Investment, or should i plan to invest in someother things for better return, your advice will means a lot to me. Thanks

Well i would recommend you to make an investment decision based on your own analysis and don't make decisions based on others portfolio or suggestions. Remember people who do trading watching YouTube videos/ following influencers mostly ends up losing money or in debt.
- I think you were already doing pretty well considering your age.
- Do learn about the expenses ratio, exit load, taxes... Etc.
- If you are trying to invest for long term 35-40 you should be fine just continue with Sip and see the power of compounding over the years. The market keeps going up and down but in the long run:
Small cap will give you 17-18% return
Mid cap/ Flexi cap will give you 14-15% returns
Nifty 50 around 12%
Just check funds with good ratings, good 3 year rolling returns, the fund is stable, and check who is the fund manager and what return they have yielded in the past... If the fund manager changes that will be a whole new story for any fund. Have patience and focus on increasing your salary so that you can invest more in the future. Based on your current portfolio I am sure you will be in a good spot after 10-15 years. All the best!

Thank for the suggestion
