1cr for you and your future family. Separate 1 cr for your parents. If you buy a single policy including parents it would be expensive as your father's age will define the price. There is HDFC super optima something, it 3x your base amount from day 1. Buy 25L policy for yourself. For parents do some research but make sure your SI reaches 1 Cr. Also, remember supertopup plans are reimbursed.

Yes. It's good. The problem while deciding insurance is one major disease like liver failure or liver transplant you are done as the cost exceeds ₹25 lakh in first year or consider any of the family members got into cancer or had to go for ECMO. GAME OVER. ECMO cost is 1.5 lakh per day. Take based on your habits, genes etc. Insurance advisor here.
