Infosys Bench policy

I have been on bench for 2 months now. This is very stressful for me. I am in Infosys btw. Can anyone tell me what is the Infosys Bench policy?

Two months on the bench at Infosys? Yeah, it’s frustrating, no doubt. Few days back, got to know that Infosys gives you three months to find a project, and if you’re still unassigned after that, they might put you in PIP—or worse, terminate you.

If you’re benched, don’t just sit around. Hit up your manager or HR, let them know you’re actively looking for projects. Even better, reach out directly to project managers and ask about openings.

It’s a tough phase, but honestly, it’s the perfect time to level up. Learn a new skill, grab a certification—anything to boost your profile and stay competitive. Use this downtime to prep for what’s next in your career! Best of luck, mate!

To add on, industry ko hila do by pressing apply button and also customize resume and active looking for job change daalke keep trying outside. This is like ventilator mode on...so try to survive not just looking for a project in the organization rather hunt outside and use all your references.

For the past month I was on the bench and it was quite difficult for me. Infosys Bench policy is for 3 months but you can simply talk to the HR that you are waiting for a project and you can use this time to sharp your skills or learn new ones. Dont be discouraged. This is all a part of this job

I completely understand and sympathise with the situation where you are is stuck. It can be very irritating after reaching two months. Generally, according to the Infosys benching policy, you will get another three months’ grace period before talking about the next step, which will include putting the person on a PIP. In this case, I will tell you to speak with your manager or HR about any available projects. Do not take much stress and effectively utilise your time with extra training or certification. So just be active! All the best!
