I just found out that my maternal grandparents left behind 2400 shares of Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Ltd (now JSW Steel). These are physical shares. Per my research, the value is around ₹39cr 🤯
I can’t even imagine this kind of money.
Does anyone have good references of agencies that can help recover these shares? How long does it take? How much do they charge? What would be tax implications?

Jsw steel is 1038/share today, which math you used to get 39cr.
2400 shares of Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Ltd.
In 2005, they got converted to JSW steel at 1:16 ratio to make 38400 shares of JSW steel
Split of 1:10 in in 2017 to make 384,000 shares.
38400 shares x 1000 per share is 38.4cr
